LV= recognised for employee engagement

LV= has won the Employee Engagement Strategy of the Year award at the UK Customer Satisfaction Awards, held by the Institute of Customer Service.

The accolade was received by the insurer’s life and pensions’ customer service team, for its 2011 employee engagement strategy.

Judges were impressed with a number of LV=’s initiatives, including the creation of an event designed to recognise the firm’s star performers and a scheme that encourages staff to further their technical skills.

LV=’s head of customer experience, life and pensions, Max Clarke, says: “By empowering and rewarding our employees we hope to retain highly skilled members of staff who in turn provide our customers with an excellent quality of service.”
