LV= has formed a partnership with Barclays Stockbrokers, the UK’s largest execution-only stockbroker.

The move will allow customers to use LV=’s SIPP style Flexible Transitions Account to take advantage of Barclays Stockbrokers’ trading platform and invest across a range of asset classes.

These include equities, funds, Exchange Traded Funds, structured products, Exchange Traded Commodities and more.

Promising an integrated and streamlined experience for clients, the service also allows clients to open a SIPP and a trading account at the same time, reducing time spent filling in forms.

LV=’s head of pensions, Ray Chinn, comments: “We wanted to work with Barclays Stockbrokers on this partnership as it has one of the broadest ranges of asset classes available and is able to deliver product, investment research and analysis tools not available through other platforms.”
