Brit announces trio of appointments

International general insurance and reinsurance group Brit Insurance has announced it has created a raft of new positions in its Global Markets strategic business unit.

North American Property Class Underwriter Tim Rowley becomes Divisional Director of “Property, Space & Terrorism”, with Financial Property Class Underwriter Christiern Dart appointed as Divisional Director of “Property Facilities”.

Personal Accident Underwriter Andy Bowers has been appointed to lead the Accident and Health division as a Divisional Director.

The trio will continue to be directly responsible to Short Tail Portfolio Director John King.

Global Markets Chief Executive Officer Matthew Wilson described Rowley, Dart and Bowers as proven and outstanding underwriters and leaders, and welcomed them to their new positions with Brit.
