Software provider, IT-Freedom, has announced that its ICE Claims solution has been recommended to insurers looking to evaluate new claims management systems.

According to the firm, an analysis by consultancy firm, Celent, entitled “European Claims Vendors in 2010″, has praised IT’s understanding of the insurance market and ICE Claims’ use of business rules and workflows.

Celent senior analyst, Catherine Stagg-Macey, comments: “With its heritage in the world of third party administrators, ICE Claims has a rich functional offering which belies its relative youth.”

She adds: “The modern code base and architecture will ensure strong rating in any evaluation process.”

IT-Freedom lists additional key benefits of the solution as follows: rapid return on investment; configurability allows dependency on IT resources to be reduced; extensive out of the box functionality for general insurance claims processing.

In other IT-Freedom news, the firm has recently partnered with Logica to tackle the challenges created by aggregators by providing advanced automated policy and claims software, alongside Logica’s financial services experience and implementation skills.
