Sterling Insurance has announced the results of its annual online broker survey, which it says demonstrates satisfaction with both its claims service and recently launched Executive Business product.

Executive Business, which includes cover for the departure of lotto winning employees and PR costs for reputational damage, received a “very good” rating in all categories, particularly for quality and content.

Furthermore, 75% of respondents said the group’s claims service was excellent, when compared with the rest of the market.

The firm’s director of commercial lines, David Sweeney, says: “As an ongoing project we have been taking steps to increase knowledge and technical capability of our team and improve access to decision makers, it is very encouraging that this has been noticed as we pride ourselves on these differentials.”

However, the research did highlight some areas for change as follows: making training programmes more regionally based; developing communication tools; website improvements and reviewing the use of social media.
