Heath Lambert appoints Buckmaster

Independent insurance broker Heath Lambert Group has appointed Richard Buckmaster to enhance its specialist classic car sector (part of the Art, Jewellery and Private Client Division (AJPCD)).

He brings with him experience from both Aston Scott Ltd and Aon Ltd, where he developed a strong classic motor trade scheme and specialised in classic car insurance respectively.

Buckmaster gains responsibility for the formulation and enactment of classic car trade schemes, further to which he is to foster affinity business with high net worth (HNW) individuals, as well as classic car bodies/organisations.

In addition to this he will be working closely with restorers and dealers of classic cars to tailor products to their particular needs.

AJPCD managing director Richard Northcott has welcomed Buckmaster’s appointment, adding that he would enhance the firm’s scope of coverage to private and HNW clients.

The appointment follows on from Heath Lambert’s bolstering of its HNW team in Edinburgh earlier this month.

In December of last year the firm also expanded its HNW staff in Manchester, underlining Heath Lambert’s success and commitment to the sector.
