Glacier Insurance AG has bolstered its underwriting capabilities with the appointments of Greg Dawson and Tim Woodhouse as senior Aviation underwriter and senior War & Terrorism underwriter respectively.

Both Woodhouse and Dawson will be based in Glacier’s London office.

Dawson brings more than a quarter of a century of experience to the firm, and began his career with Pearson Aviation Syndicate 271 where he occupied a number of roles.

He subsequently joined GE Frankona in 2001, and a year later spearheaded the firm’s new general aviation initiative in London.

Woodhouse has worked in the London market for more than 10 years, taking up his first role as assistant marine underwriter with Gammel Kershaw.

Eight years ago he joined Wellington, and was promoted two years later to serve as underwriter for Terrorism, Aviation War and Marine War.

Most recently he worked for Marsh as vice president of Terrorism.
