Andy Hollenberg has been named as ACE’s senior vice president (in the Accident & Health department) of ACE Europe.

Hollenberg’s responsibilities will include running the firm’s accident and health operations throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as ensuring there is proper distribution of a variety of insurance products for both organisations and individuals (including accident, supplemental health, term life, creditor and niche personal lines).

Hollenberg will relocate to London following his time as the firm’s vice president for accident and health in the Far East.

He will be replacing Edward Levin, who is taking up the position of Executive Vice President of ACE Overseas General. Levin will remain in London, where he will be responsible for all the firm’s international accident and health business.

Hollenberg explained that the bringing together of accident and health, life and personal lines allowed the firm to offer unique insurance opportunities for their customers and stated that new value-added products would be brought to the market in the near future.

Levin praised Hollenberg on his move to London, expressing confidence in the American and Japanese experience Hollenberg has acquired and saying it would prove fundamental in the continuing growth of the business in Europe.
