RSA has been appointed to provide pet, wedding & event and home insurance for John Lewis Insurance, following a competitive tendering process.

The insurer will begin underwriting wedding & event and pet products from today and home insurance from January 2013.

RSA personal lines managing director, Mark Christer, comments: “John Lewis Partnership is deservedly one of the most respected and trusted brands in the UK and we look forward to bringing our heritage and expertise to their business and delivering first class service to their customers.”

John Lewis Insurance is the latest win for RSA’s affinity team, with existing partnerships including Tesco, Home Retail Group (Argos and Homebase), National Australia Group, Yorkshire Building Society and Marks & Spencer.
