The commercial lines division of Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe Limited (LMIE), Liberty Mutual Insurance (LMI), has announced the appointment of Jo Hunt.

Hunt joins the firm in the newly created position of commercial combined underwriter, and is to be based in Birmingham.

In her new position with the firm she will collaborate with Midlands-based brokers to foster the firm’s commercial combined capability.

Hunt, who is Dip CII qualified, brings a decade and a half of experience to her new role and will be directly responsible to northern development manager and Birmingham branch manager Neil Findley.

LMIE Chief Executive Officer Sean Rocks said that the firm was keen to capitalise upon a positive reception to its new commercial offering in the Midlands, going on to say that Hunt’s appointment would add to the firm’s momentum.
