Ironshore Inc. has announced a number of senior appointments, including those of Peter Harper (the new global chief financial officer) and Meg Drago (the new global head of human resources).
Harper previously served as the chief financial officer of Scottsdale Insurance Company for seven years, and replaces founding CFO Mitchell Blaser.
Earlier in his career Harper was treasurer and CFO of Suntron Corporation and held senior finance roles with Iomega Corporation.
Blaser will retain his position as Global COO and CEO of Ironshore’s Bermuda platform and expand his responsibilities as IronServe CEO.
Drago joins Ironshore from the HR consulting firm she set up in 2009, and will be directly responsible to Blaser.
Previously she worked for MasterCard Worldwide as global head of human resources.
Ironshore CEO Kevin H. Kelley welcomed Harper and Drago to the firm, and praised their specialised skills and experience.
