Insurance, investment and retirement group LV= has announced that it has appointed Wendy Mayall as the firm’s new chief investment officer.
Mayall will take on responsibility for all aspects of the firm’s investment strategy, offering advice and support to differing business areas.
She will manage the relationship with Threadneedle Investments, who manage the Society’s assets, and report directly to Group Finance Director Philip Moore.
Mayall brings extensive experience to her new position, including a 17 year stint at Unilever and, more recently, working for leading fiduciary management and manager research firm Stamford Associates as a strategic adviser.
Moore warmly welcomed her appointment, stating that he was delighted a candidate of Mayall’s calibre was joining the firm.
