The BGL Group has announced the appointment of Martin Croucher as the firm’s new senior counter-fraud manager.

Croucher will assume the leadership of the intermediary’s comprehensive counter-fraud strategy, which will involve close collaboration with other organisations across the industry to help combat fraud.

He will also drive the success of Data Hub, a new initiative launched last month as an anti-fraud ‘point of quote’ solution.

Croucher has worked in the financial services sector for almost three decades and brings extensive knowledge in the spheres of counter-fraud and compliance to his new position.

Prior to his latest appointment he worked for Diligenta as head of Financial Crime and Compliance.

Director of Product and Panel Development Will Price explained that fighting insurance fraud could not be done in isolation and stated that Croucher would establish strong links with other organisations to help counter fraud.
