The ACE Group has announced the appointment of Darryl Page as the division president of International Personal and Business Insurance.

Page will assume leadership of the firm’s personal lines and small and mid-size commercial insurance operations in a wide range of territories, including Asia Pacific and Japan, Latin America, and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

He brings almost three decades of experience to his new position, and was previously Personal Insurance president at the Fireman’s Fund in the US.

Earlier in his career Page spent a quarter of a century with Allstate in a range of different positions.

He is to be based in Basking Ridge, N.J., and will be directly responsible to Global Head of Personal Lines and Small Commercial Insurance Juan Andrade.

Andrade welcomed Page’s appointment and praised him as a strong leader and underwriter.
