Marsh has announced that it has bolstered its presence in North West England with the appointment of senior Marsh executive Phil Angus as the leader of a newly established insurance broking operation in Liverpool.

Marsh is based in the same office as its sister company Mercer (both firms being subsidiaries of Marsh & McLennan Companies), at Mercury Court in Tithebarn Street.

Angus joins the firm’s team in the North West of England having successfully led Marsh’s broking operations on the Isle of Man.

Angus, a Mersey native, expressed his delight to be returning to Liverpool to lead Marsh’s insurance broking operation.

He went on to say that the firm, which has a long-standing presence in the North West, had ambitious growth plans for the region.
