AXA UK has announced that Steve Hardy has chosen to stand down as chief executive officer of AXA Personal Lines, following the successful conclusion of the AXA and Swiftcover integration.
Hardy was a founder member of Swiftcover and joined AXA when it was acquired five years ago.
Until a permanent successor is found the Personal Lines broker and corporate partnership business will report directly to AXA Commercial Lines CEO Amanda Blanc, with the Personal Lines direct business reporting to AXA Ireland CEO John O’Neill.
Group CEO AXA UK and Ireland Paul Evans thanked Hardy for the significant contribution that he had made to the firm during his five years with AXA.
Evans went on to wish him all the best for the future, and expressed his confidence in Blanc and O’Neill to drive the Personal Lines business forward in the next few months.
