Amlin has announced that Amlin France (known as Anglo-French underwriters prior to its acquisition by Amlin four years ago) is to be integrated into Amstelveen-based Amlin Corporate Insurance.
The integration will consolidate all of the firm’s European commercial insurance activities and enable a broader client proposition to be offered in Europe.
Amlin France Chairman François Martinache will retain his responsibility for managing the French business.
Amlin plc Chief Executive Officer Charles Philipps described Amlin France as a small but diverse business with strong broker relationships that had been integrated into the Amlin business for some time.
Philipps went on to say that said that Amlin Corporate Insurance had made good progress under Kim Hvirgel, and said that the consolidation of the two divisions would strengthen the offering to clients.
