Lloyds Bank announces Seb Kafetz to head New York insurance operations

Lloyds Bank has announced that Seb Kafetz will move to its New York office to spearhead the next phase of growth for its Wholesale Banking & Markets’ (WBM) Insurance Coverage division. Seb will take up his role of Senior Vice President, Insurance Coverage, on 4th May, 2012 and will be working alongside Rich Herder, Head of Financial Institutions in North America.
Lloyds Bank is currently a leader in providing banking solutions and services to the London market, offering sector expertise aligned with strong risk management and capital markets capabilities. Seb will extend this expertise into the US market where the team will further support its existing North American and Bermudian clients, as well as expanding its footprint within the US.
Seb has been with Lloyds since 2002 and has covered the insurance sector since 2004. He has extensive experience in the US and Bermuda insurance and reinsurance markets and, in his new role, will continue to focus on the provision of innovative corporate financing solutions to clients.
