Ageas Protect makes senior appointments
Ageas Protect has announced two key appointments to its senior management team with
Scott Reid joining as head of pricing & reinsurance and Richard Halley taking up the post of partnership development manager.
Mr Reid brings with him actuarial and reinsurance experience gathered from various jobs with Aon Benfield, Scor, Gen Re, and Scottish Widows.
He has also co-authored a number of papers and articles, including one looking at the critical illness drivers of trends in mortality and morbidity.
Richard Halley arrives from Bupa, where he held the role of commercial manager for partnerships.
In his new post, he will work with Mark Anders, Ageas Protect’s head of sales, to support the firm’s overall sales strategy.
Commenting on the appointments, Darren Spriggs, acting managing director of Ageas Protect, says: “The addition of Scott and Richard to our team, coupled with their vast knowledge and experience, will be invaluable to ensure we continue to strongly compete in the market.”
Ageas Protect has yet to appoint a permanent managing director, Martin Werth having stepped down in December after five years at the helm.
