RSA appoints UK head of Litigation

Global insurer RSA has announced that it has appointed Will Bloomer as head of UK Litigation, with effect from 3 January 2012.

In his new role Bloomer takes on the oversight of the firm’s litigation management, and is directly responsible to UK General Counsel Neville Howe.

Bloomer is presently the general counsel at Gallagher Heath, the UK subsidiary of Arthur J Gallagher, and held the same post (and a directorship) previously at Heath Lambert, before it was acquired by AJG International earlier this year.

Howe welcomed Bloomer to his team, praising the extensive experience in both litigation and insurance that he brings to RSA.

Howe himself has expressed his delight at his new position, describing RSA as one of the leading lights of the industry.
