Reinsurance broking and risk/capital management firm TigerRisk Partners has announced the establishment of a UK subsidiary, headquartered in London.

TigerRisk Partners UK has received the necessary approvals from the FSA and the Corporation of Lloyd’s to trade insurance and reinsurance in the United Kingdom and the Lloyd’s markets.

Chief Executive Officer Rod Fox described the entry into the London market as the next step in the evolution of TigerRisk, following its successful growth.

Fox went to say that clients had a right to expect creative solutions and senior-level attention, rather than off-the-shelf products, and that they deserved seasoned analytical teams that address individual needs.

TigerRisk has also announced that John Goldsmith is to be the chairman and chief executive officer of TigerRisk Partners UK, subject to regulatory approvals.
