Marsh appoints Isle of Man director

Marsh has announced the appointment of Ken Watterson, a leading Manx business and wildlife expert, to the post of non-executive director on the board of directors on the Isle of Man.

In his new role with the firm Watterson will be tasked with providing its insurance broking and risk advisory business on the island with strategic direction.

He brings more than a quarter of a century of experience in the global financial services sector to the post and has held executive directorships with a number of other firms.

In addition, Watterson’s consultancy firm Focus Advisory Services offers corporate governance, operations, and risk and compliance services to London Stock Exchange and local companies.

Sarah Hewitt, Marsh’s insurance broking and risk advisory services CEO on the Isle of Man, welcomed the enormous experience Watterson brings to the firm, adding that his perspective would undoubtedly prove invaluable as the firm expands its island presence.
