LV= creates 50 new jobs
LV= is expanding its claims division and creating 50 new jobs at its Ipswich office, the BBC has reported.
According to the broadcaster, the majority of the roles will be in handling car insurance claims involving personal injuries.
The insurer has also appointed Philip Brown as head of retirement propositions.
Mr Brown joins from Partnership, where he has been head of retirement products since 2007.
With 23 years’ experience in financial services, he is also a founder member of the Pensions Income Choice Association, a group lobbying for the open market to be the default annuity option.
Taking up his new role in August, Mr Brown will report directly to LV= retirement solutions director, John Perks.
