Crawford & Company has established a team of global technical services (GTS) managers and offices in Latin America, with the aim of more effectively serving large and complex claims in the region.

The group says it is seeing significant growth in Latin America, including more involvement by insurers and reinsurers in the London market.

Under the joint direction of Bill Johnstone, senior vice president of GTS in the Americas, and Mauricio Alonso, senior vice president for Latin American and Caribbean operations, the following locations will serve as GTS hubs: Argentina – Buenos Aires; Brazil – São Paulo; Chile – Santiago; Mexico – Mexico City; Panama – Panama City; Peru – Lima.

GTS professionals coordinating operations are: Ruben Quilindro, GTS manager in Argentina; Marc Godfrey, GTS manager in Brazil; Gustavo Soto, GTS manager in Chile; Juan Fry, GTS manager in Peru.
