Global insurance broker Willis Group Holdings has announced the appointment of Gianmarco Tosti as the new chief executive officer of Willis Facultative London.
Tosti assumes the newly created position with immediate effect and takes on responsibility for a team of 50 associates placing international facultative reinsurance business into the London and international market.
He will collaborate closely with the other CEOS of Willis Facultatives key regions, including Global & North America’s Matt Keeping, Europe’s Antonio Tosti, Latin America’s Hugh Powell and Asia Pacific’s Duncan Stockley.
Tosti first joined Willis five years ago as head of Southern Europe for Global Markets International and two years ago was appointed MD of Facultative International.
Keeping stated that London remains at the cutting edge of the facultative market in terms of capacity and ingenuity, and welcomed Tosti’s appointment, praising him as a talented leader.
