LMA: new directors plus broker remuneration advice
Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has provided details of nominations for election to its board as follows:
Matthew Wilson, chief executive officer, global markets, Brit Syndicates; Lawrence Holder, managing director, Cathedral Underwriting; Stuart Willoughby, claims director, Markel Syndicate Management, and Neil Maidment chairman, group underwriting committee, Beazley Furlonge.
There will be no ballot as nominations do not exceed vacancies and nominated members are deemed to be elected as directors of the LMA with effect from the close of the Association’s Annual General Meeting on 24th May.
The LMA has also today published broker remuneration advice, based on discussions with City law firm, Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC).
Full legal advice will be available shortly, but in the meantime RPC has identified a number of key issues which are outlined on the LMA website.
