Users will be able to store information about their own car on the app, including car renewal reminders for issues such as road tax, MOT and service, parking permit, and insurance.

Customers of LV= will be able to fill out an accident form through the app, and are guaranteed to be contacted by a claims handler within 24 hours of submission.

Motorists can also be notified of local traffic updates and and access a local information map with information regarding nearby amenities.

In December 2009 AXA launched its own iPhone app for motorists, named AXAdent, designed to help drivers navigate their way through the claims process.
