BIBA partners AllClear in extended travel offering
The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has appointed AllClear Insurance as the provider of its new non-standard medical travel scheme.
AllClear is a market leader in providing travel insurance to those with pre-existing medical conditions and the move will allow BIBA to enhance its existing travel offering.
Available from today, BIBA Medical Travel allows members to provide cover for those on existing hospital waiting lists or still undergoing medical treatment, including chemotherapy.
It also offers optional “Travelling Companion” cover, should the medical condition of the insured force a companion not covered by the policy to also cancel their trip.
BIBA head of technical services, Peter Staddon, comments: “We are very pleased with this partnership as we are receiving more and more calls from the public who are having difficulty in finding good quality, cost effective cover.”
