RSA appoints Hong Kong chief executive
Global insurer RSA has announced the appointment of Chris Colahan as the new chief executive of Hong Kong.
Colahan previously served RSA as country manager of Singapore and succeeds Chris Dooley, who vacates the role to become chief executive of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Colahan has been with the firm for the last six years, beginning his time with RSA in London as part of the Group Strategy team.
Emerging Markets General Counsel Elliott Hill is to assume Colahan’s present role with the firm.
Emerging Markets Chief Executive Paul Whittaker has welcomed Colahan’s appointment, adding that the internal promotion speaks well of RSA’s leadership development and planning.
Colahan has expressed his eagerness to lead RSA’s strong business in Hong Kong, one of the world’s most competitive markets.
