Aviva enhances commercial lines broker platform
Aviva has added three new products to Fast Trade, its commercial lines trading platform.
The addition of Cargo Annual plus (in recent months) Computer and Manufacturing & Wholesale, takes the number of products available on the platform to nine.
Commenting on the enhancement the insurer’s regional broker director, Gareth Hemming, says: “We have seen a steady growth in the number of brokers using Fast Trade since its launch two years ago and have now built around 8,000 regular users.”
He adds: “More than 90% of our commercial package quotes are now processed via Fast Trade.”
According to Aviva, the system allows brokers to quote and buy a policy in less than five minutes and to download copies of documentation instantly.
Mid-term adjustments, cancellations and renewal processing can also be undertaken, and Fast Trade’s fast-track referral process means responses should be received within the hour.
Separately, Aviva Life has announced a tie-up with Suvidhaa, the pioneer of Services Commerce (S-Commerce) in India.
The companies plan to launch a new payment renewal service for Aviva policyholder at 10,000 touch points across the sub-continent.
