Auto Windscreens brand acquired by Markerstudy
Trifords Limited, part of the Markerstudy Group, has acquired from the liquidators of Auto Windscreens certain trading assets, including the right to use the trading style “Auto Windscreens”.
The new owners of the brand have confirmed that 250 jobs will be created as a result of the acquisition, which includes three freehold sites, one of which is the former Auto Windscreen head office building in Chesterfield.
According to Nigel Davies, who has been appointed to manage the new business: “Our intention is to provide a premier service, attracting fleet, insurer and personal customers.”
Markerstudy group chief executive officer, Kevin Spencer, comments: “When opportunities such as Auto Windscreens present themselves we can act quickly, which is exactly what we did on this occasion in order to acquire some valuable assets.”
