Ageas bolsters Commercial team
Ageas Insurance Limited has announced that it has appointed three new broker account executives to cover the North East, East and West Midlands, and South West regions.
The appointments are part of the firm’s strategic drive to enlarge its Commercial division and bolster its relationship with regional brokers.
Jonnie Armstrong was formerly a regional sales executive with Liverpool Victoria, and brings more than two decades of industry experience, including time spent with Zurich and NIG (RBS).
Gavin Peacock joins Ageas from UK General Insurance Group where he worked as schemes business development manager.
Peacock has more than 30 years of experience in the sector, and has also worked for Towergate and Eagle Star/Zurich.
Jason Jackson was formerly of Westinsure Group Ltd, where he had responsibility for handling over 180 brokers and, and has held positions with Marsh and Commercial Union.
Distribution and Development Director Chris Dobson described the new appointments as key to supporting Ageas’ ambitions of expanding, and warmly welcomed Armstrong, Peacock and Jackson to the firm.
