Keoghs has announced a brace of senior hires, with disease specialist Carrie Hoey joining the firm, along with new commercial director Andrew Spice.

The senior appointments follow a year of swift expansion for the firm, which saw 88 new jobs and a 12% rise in headcount to 827 at its sites in Bolton, Coventry and Manchester.

Hoey was previously an associate at Halliwells and joins Keoghs’ disease team where she will work with the firm’s clients on asbestos exposure, deafness, hand-arm vibration syndrome and other work-related illnesses.

Spice formerly worked for Royal Mail Group, where he held a number of senior positions, and latterly led the Post Office’s Financial Services division.

In his new post with Keoghs he takes on board level responsibility for business development, marketing and product development strategies.
