Claims management group, Crawford & Company, has appointed Ian Baxter as regional director, GTS – Asia Pacific.

Mr Baxter, who will be based in Singapore, has over 30 years of experience as a qualified loss adjuster and claims professional in a wide range of industries, including construction, hotels, department stores, office buildings and manufacturing.

He also has extensive knowledge of the Asian marketplace, having lived and worked in the region for some 25 years.

During this period he has handled some of the region’s largest losses, including major events in Guam, the Philippines and Indonesia.

Commenting on the development, the group’s executive vice president of Global Markets and head of Crawford Global Technical Services, Mike Reeves, says: “This appointment further evidences Crawford’s continued commitment to the major and complex market segment in Asia Pacific.”

The GTS in Mr Baxter’s job title refers to Crawford’s definitive solution for large, complex claims.
