LV= appoints non-executive director
Mutual insurance, retirement and investment group LV= has announced that John Edwards has been appointed to the post of non-executive director.
Edwards brings more than three decades of experience in the financial services sector to his new role.
During the last two decades he has worked for HBOS and Lloyds Banking Group, holding a range of positions including CEO of Clerical Medical Investment Group, HBOS’s Insurance and Investment Division, and Lloyds Banking Group’s International Financial Services operation.
His appointment increases the board’s number to eight, and he joins fellow non-executive directors Chairman Dennis Holt, Gill Nott, Ian Reynolds, and Mark Austen.
Group Chief Executive Mike Rogers expressed the firm’s delight at his appointment and welcomed Edwards’ extensive experience, and looked forward to the advice and expertise that he would offer LV=.
