Ageas reassures claimants over Rok administration

| November 18, 2010 | 0 Comments

Ageas (formerly Fortis) has announced that it is in the process of contacting some policyholders who have made claims, following notification that building firm Rok’s maintenance office has been closed.

Rok was placed in administration last week and the insurer says it is working with all parties involved to ensure that customers’ needs continue to be met in the usual way.

Customers with urgent requirements are being provided with alternative assistance as necessary and new claims, or claims where Rok was yet to start work, are being switched to alternative suppliers.

Ageas already has a number of suppliers in place, including LAS, GAB Robins’ building repair network and Property Consortium (UK) Ltd.
