Specialist independent insurance and reinsurance broker Miller has announced it has expanded its facultative capability with the appointment of James Lyndon-Stanford.

He brings to Miller expertise in facultative reinsurance of power generation and distribution risks and is to be based in London, collaborating with the firm’s facultative reinsurance operations in Europe and Asia.

Prior to joining Miller he worked for Aon Benfield, and during his career has worked for Heath Lambert, HSBC and SAIL.

Head of Facultative Reinsurance Mike Papworth has expressed his delight at the growth in the facultative team over the last year and a half and its continuing expansion.

Papworth went on to praise Lyndon-Standford as a skilled specialist and stated that his appointment would prove of direct benefit to Miller’s clients.
