AmWINS Group, Inc., the wholesale distributor of specialty insurance products and services, has announced that Skip Cooper (President of AmWINS) has been appointed as chief executive officer of Colemont Global Group Limited (CGGL) and Colemont Insurance Brokers Limited (CIBL).

CIBL Non-Executive Director Jeremy Underwood has become chairman of CIBL and will collaborate with Cooper to oversee Colemont Global Group’s London and International operations.

Former CEO of Colemant Global Group and CIBL Surinder Beerh has parted ways with the group to pursue other interests.

CGGL and CIBL were acquired by AmWINS Group earlier this year, in relation to the merger of AmWINS and Colemont Insurance Brokers.

AmWINS Chief Executive Officer M. Steven DeCarlo has said that Beerh played an important role in the recent integration process and expressed the firm’s gratitude to him for his contribution.
