Britannia Rescue is renewing its sponsorship deal with the British Bobsleigh Association.

The agreement, which dates back to November 2009, has been extended for another year and will include sponsorship for: the Bobsleigh World Cup; World Championships; Europa Cup; World Junior Championships and the British Bobsleigh Championships.

As title sponsor, Britannia will continue to provide funding for the 24-strong team’s ongoing requirements.

The women’s GBR1 team will be kick-starting their season on 10th November in the Americas Cup, while the men’s team will begin competing in the Europa Cup on 15th November in Igls, Austria.

LV= owned Britannia is the UK’s fourth-largest breakdown provider, operating a network of over 300 independent rescue agents across the country.

Among the strangest reasons for a call-out the company lists removing a spider from the dashboard and providing clothes for nudist drivers.
