Just Retirement acquires TOMAS
Specialist UK life assurance group Just Retirement has announced that it is to acquire The Open Market Annuity Service Limited (TOMAS) from Kerr Henderson (Financial Services) Ltd.
The acquisition is part of Just Retirement’s strategic approach to invest in further development of the open market option.
TOMAS caters to providers, advisers, trustees and employee benefit consultancies, providing systems and services to streamline the annuity advice process, helping to cut costs and create income opportunities.
During the tenure of Managing Director Michael Slevin TOMAS has expanded its customer base, but further growth requires additional investment.
Kerr Henderson MD Michael Kerr has expressed his pride at what TOMAS has achieved in recent years, and stated his confidence that it will flourish with the new investment provided by Just Retirement.
Slevin has welcomed the additional investment TOMAS will now receive, and the continuation of its own operations, brand and marketing in Northern Ireland.
