Willis North America has announced the appointment of Hilaire Damiron as the new chief executive officer of Willis Mexico.

Damiron, whose appointment is made with immediate effect, has been working as interim CEO of Willis Mexico since August 2009.

He will be tasked with leading the firm’s operations in Mexico and driving growth, and will report directly to Vic Krauze, chief operating officer and president of Willis North America.

Damiron joined Willis four years ago as chief commercial officer of Willis Brazil, and two years ago became chief commercial officer of Willis North America.

Krauze has hailed Damiron’s track record of success and strong leadership and welcomed his appointment to the post of CEO of Willis Mexico.

Damiron himself has described Mexico as a country of extraordinary potential that can be enhanced by Willis using leadership and care.
