LV= aids job seekers with new app

LV= has announced that it has launched a new iPhone app aimed at job seekers.

The app features an interactive map highlighting the firm’s offices throughout the UK, and includes details of jobs on offer which can be found by looking at specific offices or searching the entire country.

If a specific location is desirable but there are no current vacancies job seekers can opt into job alerts, to be notified when a vacancy becomes available.

The free app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and includes a live feed from the LV.com careers website to ensure up-to-date information.

LV= operates from 28 offices in the UK, with plenty of recruitment taking place, particularly in Bournemouth, Bristol, Exeter, Croydon and Huddersfield.

With mobile internet and iPhones proving ever more popular the insurance industry is embracing the new technology in a variety of ways.

In addition to LV=’s new tool to aid job seekers, AXA last year launched an app (AXAdent) to help guide drivers through the claims process
