Bupa Individual Protection has been appointed to the First Complete protection panel, meaning that members of the financial services network can now offer Bupa income protection, critical illness and term assurance products to their customers.

Commenting on the move, the insurer’s individual protection head of sales, Steve Casey, says: “We are always looking for ways to strengthen and grow our customer base and this partnership will ensure that more people will be able to access and benefit from Bupa Individual Protection’s award winning products and services.”

First complete chief executive, Jon Round, adds: “Our new partnership … will further enhance our offering to our members and will give them the opportunity to provide their clients with a wider range of high quality protection, helping advisers with cross sales and ensuring that their clients are protected for the future.”

Earlier this year, Bupa Individual Protection was named winner of the 2010 Protection Review Online User Experience Award, for an enhanced system that allows users to make alterations to cover until the policy is placed on risk, and to arrange for single or multiple start and direct debit dates.
