Zurich enhances level protection range
Zurich UK Life has enhanced its level protection range to help clients who may need to make changes to their existing life cover when their circumstances change.
Renewable and convertible options are now available, allowing customers to either renew or convert their policies at a later date, without the need for further medical evidence.
The renewable option is available on life cover and critical illness cover, while the convertible option applies to life cover only.
Commenting on the development, the group’s protection management director, Peter Hamilton, says: “We recognise that people’s circumstances change, and that over the term of a plan people’s protection needs may change.”
He adds: “It’s vitally important that our proposition evolves to reflect these changing needs.”
New support materials aimed at helping advisers communicate the benefits of protection to clients are now available at Zurich4protection.co.uk.
Zurich has also recently entered the Indonesian life assurance market with the acquisition of an 80% stake in PT Mayapada Life.
The purchase has been made from the Mayapada Group, which operates across various sectors including financial services, healthcare, media and energy, and will continue to hold the remainder of the stock.
