Miller makes senior reinsurance appointments
Miller has announced a number of senior appointments to its reinsurance business unit.
Former Guy Carpenter managing director, Adrian Stewart, is tasked with enhancing the broker’s property reinsurance book, having already been instrumental in expanding his previous employer’s global retrocessional practice from £3.5 million to £25 million.
Mr Stewart is joined by Nick Pomeroy, also from Guy Carpenter and specialising in property reinsurance.
Finally, Jeremy Crowch, an industry loss warranty expert, is moving to Miller from Evolution Markets, where he is currently vice president of catastrophe derivatives.
The group’s head of reinsurance, James Geffen, comments: “At a time when the broker landscape continues to consolidate, Miller’s proposition of independent advice, specialist expertise and the highest level of client service represents a great choice for reinsurance buyers.”
In other Miller news, the broker has launched a white paper aimed at helping finance professionals and risk managers derive maximum value from their brokers.
The report delves into buyers’ decision making processes and suggests that a more structured “road map” could be developed for clients.
