Brit Insurance bolsters Liability team
International general insurance and reinsurance group Brit Insurance has announced the appointment of Tom Taylor as Liability Portfolio management underwriter in the firm’s London office.
Taylor assumes his position with immediate effect and is directly responsible to Jamie McNab, UK Portfolio manager for Liability.
He joins the firm from RSA, where he held numerous liability underwriting roles, most recently as the Liability underwriting manager of Commercial Underwriting.
In his previous position Taylor was responsible for leading an underwriting team handling complex case referrals and providing technical support.
With Brit Insurance he will be take on the position of McNab’s deputy, including some portfolio management responsibilities in UK Construction.
McNab has warmly welcomed Taylor’s appointment and stated he and the rest of the Brit team are looking forward to working with him.
McNab went on to praise Taylor’s technical credentials, leadership and experience and predict that he would prove to be a huge asset to the team.
