A-Plan opens Poole branch
A-Plan has opened a new branch in Poole, Dorset.
The move follows a line of openings since December of last year that has seen branches spring up in Maidenhead, Wimbledon, and Salisbury.
The independent intermediary has a couple more branch openings on the drawing board, both within its current geographical footprint.
Commenting on the firm’s commitment to the High Street, chief executive, Carl Shuker, says: “Whilst the direct market is firmly established, and price comparison sites have established a significant role, there are still many people who like the option of arranging their insurance locally and dealing face to face.”
He adds: “We passionately believe there is a very exciting future for all businesses that understand what their clients want and then work hard to deliver.”
A-Plan has been providing its local service for over 40 years; it currently has over 50 branches and centres and around 600,000 policyholders.
