Torus bolsters environmental offering
Global specialty insurer Torus has announced the appointment of Adrianne Vigueras as a new vice president, tasked with the development of new bespoke environmental products aimed at SMEs in the US.
She brings a quarter of a century of experience to her new position and before joining Torus managed her own consultancy firm, CEC Consultants.
Vigueras will be based in the firm’s Jersey City office, and will also be charged with creating non-environmental programs for contractors, manufacturers and premises exposures.
She will collaborate closely with the firm’s Renewable Energy and Healthcare teams and work to augment their product range with environmental features.
Vigueras will report directly to Head of US Excess Casualty Linc Trimble, who has praised her as an environmental risk expert whose niche expertise will help Torus to meet increasing demand in the environmental arena.
