Commercial property insurer FM Global has been named as the best provider of quality service, according to the latest survey of UK insurance buyers by StrategicRISK magazine.

The UK Corporate Insurance Buyer Survey found that FM Global came top for ease of access to decision makers, timely and accurate documentation and value for money given quality of cover.

The magazine went on to report that FM Global completely outranked every one of its competitors when it came to service quality.

Private and public sector risk managers from the UK rated a number of competing insurers on a range of categories pertaining to service quality.

StrategRISK reported that FM Global got credit for a proactive approach, excellent resources and good engagement with the insured.

In June, FM Global was named by Fitch Ratings as one of the best property/casualty insurers for long-term financial performance, based on analysis of underwriting margin, net profit margin, cash flow, returns on capital and internal capital formation.

FM Global was also considered by Fitch Ratings to have the best underwriting performance and to be the the best performing mutual company.
