Chubb gets green light for second Chinese branch

| July 8, 2010 | 0 Comments

The Chubb Corporation has been granted permission by the China Insurance Regulatory Commission for its wholly owned subsidiary Chubb Insurance (China) Company Limited to establish a branch in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province.

The branch will require further green lights from the China Insurance Regulatory Commission and other Chinese regulatory authorities.

Should it get them, it is expected to open in December this year.

It is ten years ago that Chubb opened its first branch in China, in Shanghai, a branch that it transformed two years ago into a wholly owned subsidiary.

Greater China Regional Manager Andre Dallaire has expressed Chubb’s excitement at providing insurance products and services to the populous and successful Jiangsu Province and the Yangtze River Delta region.

Executive Vice President Harold Morrison has stated that the new development signifies Chubb’s long-standing commitment to China.
